Everyone loves to sing. Even if you think you sound like a frog croaking, there are going to be times where you simply cannot resist singing along with the radio or your iPod. It seems like it is just human nature to get caught up in a tune and sing along. However, if you are the type that is shy or gets embarrassed about singing where others might hear you or are embarrassed by the music you like to sing along with (no one needs to know how much you love Miley Cyrus), there are times and places where you can sing at the top of your lungs and no one will be able to bother you. There are a few places you can choose from that are great places where you can sing by yourself.
• The Shower – Okay it may seem to be one of the biggest clichés out there, but nearly everyone has started to sing when they are in the shower. The odds are pretty good that you are in their alone most of the time, so why not bring your tunes in there with you (not right in the shower of course, unless you have a waterproof radio). Once you turn on the water and get everything going, it can be hard for anyone to hear over the water and the music so you can sing to your heart’s delight.
• The Basement – The basement can be the perfect hideout for you anyway, so it can be a great chance to bust out your vocal skills and sing some music. Tell everyone you are going down to do laundry if others are in the house. Turn on the washer, put your music on or your headphones on, and start singing. The noise will drown you out, unless you are a loud, screaming singer, in which case you might want to choose some softer tunes to sing if you really want to go unheard.
• The Car – The best place of all to do your solo singing is going to be in your car. Whether you are listening to the radio, a CD (people still have CD players in cars, right?) or your digital music player, you can roll up the windows and sing as loud or as long as you want. In fact, the odds are pretty good that a lot of other people are doing the exact same thing while they are driving. Take a look at some of the other drivers some time and you will notice a lot of them singing along as well.
Take pride in your singing and own it for your own whether you think you are good at it or not. If it makes you happy and feels good then that is even better for you. If you really want to do some great singing in the car, then you may want to upgrade the vehicle you have now to one that has a more modern sound system or greater noise reduction and soundproofing so that no one will be able to hear you at all. You can find just the type of car you are looking for at the Chevrolet Rancho Cucamonga dealer found at http://www.mtvchevy.com/. You will be able to turn up the music and pretend you are the next American Idol in your car each day.
