Isamu Noguchi’s Walk

Place to visit: SUTTON PLACE PARK

A tree-lined green space tucked alongside one of the city’s only private streets. Though many will know the view from this spot, made iconic by Woody Allen in Manhattan, very few know how to find it.

Chelsea

Place to visit: HIGH LINE

The conversion of a disused industrial railway line into an elevated park in 2009 created one of New York’s most popular and enduring landmarks. Worthy of a walk from top to bottom, it can be used as a kind of guide for exploring the west side of Manhattan.
